Risk Management made 389 in-person and virtual member visits. The team conducted 61 training sessions with 850 attendees and completed more than 99 Best Practice Surveys — general, jails, and law enforcement — statewide. They also facilitated a record $348,000 in member grants, while increasing funding for Shark Tank awards to $7,500, $5,000, and $2,500 (up from $5,000, $2,000, and $1,000). The increased awards for Shark Tank resulted in 11 members — an all-time high — submitting proposals.
The 22nd CIS Annual Conference was held as a hybrid event, offering attendees the option to participate either in person, virtually, or through a combination of both. A total of 608 people attended, including 483 members and agents.
The popular conference featured 27 sessions that were live streamed and recorded, providing attendees with on-demand access. Additionally, 535 attendees logged into the conference platform a total of 1,115 times, taking full advantage of the hybrid format’s flexibility. The event received an average rating of 4.72 stars (out of 5), with 98% of attendees rating the event as either Excellent or Good.
Our Benefits experts conducted 112 sessions across the state, including 51 in-person meetings, 11 virtual webinars, and 32 pre-recorded presentations. Additionally, the Benefits team handled 745 calls during Open Enrollment, organized nine Benefits Fairs, and facilitated nine employer renewal and BAC meetings.
